Skeet Shoot!

With dove season right around the corner, what better way to brush up on your accuracy than to come out and get a little practice at a good ole fashion skeet shoot. Dane invited a few friends and family to come out to the house yesterday to shoot skeet, eat sausage wraps, and drink a beverage or two. I don't know how well they shot, but boy did they shoot. If they were a little rusty and a few got away, I know they still had a great time firing off shot after shot. I believe out of everyone, Kade had the most fun. He couldn't wait for the "skeet shoot" to start. Time would not go by fast enough for him during the day. Dane let him pull the rope to shoot off the skeet into the air. You couldn't pull him away from that job no matter what the bribe may have been. Brady got in on some rope pulling action, too. He wasn't quite as into it as Kade was. Kade stayed down there from the time they started until the last skeet was shot and everyone came back up to the house. Now his mind is on dove season. After yesterday, he's eager to go hunting with Dane. I think I can honestly say we have a future hunter on our hands.
