Santa's Wonderland!

The kids always want to go drive around and look at Christmas lights during the holiday season.  Dane and I decided to take them to Santa's Wonderland in College Station if they wanted to see plenty of lights.  We went in the middle of the weeks, so it wasn't quite as crowded.  We rode the hayride through the massive lane of lights, saw some reindeer, roasted some marshmallows to make smores, drank some hot chocolate, and spent a little time at the petting zoo.  Great family night out together.

2012 Christmas Parade!

All three boys participated in the Downtown Christmas Parade this past Christmas.  Nate rode on one of the St. Paul's floats with all of his little classmates.  They dressed up as the manger scene with all the animals, Mary, Joseph, and Baby Jesus.  Nate was a cow and a very cute cow if I do say so myself.  Brady and Kade rode on the City of Brenham float.  They were to dress up as kids from another country depicting Christmas around the world.  Although I have no idea what country they are from, I can at least say it wasn't from anywhere around here.

I'm Sexy And I Know It!

I think this picture says it all.

Fall Time Fun In The Leaves!

I can remember as a little girl raking up huge leaf piles at my Granny and Popo's house and jumping in them over and over with my cousins.  One Sunday afternoon, Dane took the boys down by the woods to rake up leaves and jump in them.  They loved it.  Kinda gave me that nostalgic feeling of wanting to be that little girl again jumping in my own pile of leaves.

Kade Shoots His First Buck 2012!

Last deer season, Dane took Kade deer hunting quite often.  He shot some does, a pig, and I think even a turkey, but no buck.  Dane promised Kade that this deer season he would get to shoot his first buck; a spike.  Well, needless to say, Kade was under the impression that he would get to kill a much bigger buck.  Dane explained to him that a spike was his first buck, and if you shoot a big buck right off the bat, then you have nothing to look forward to the next year.  With a little convincing, Kade agreed.  Dane took him out to our 105 place, and ended up shooting what they thought was a spike, but once on the group, realized it was a 3 pointer.  So see he ended up getting a bigger buck after all.

Ghosts, Goblins, & Gremlins Oh My! Halloween 2012!

This past Halloween Kade dressed up as a 50's gangster, Brady was the red Power Ranger, and Nate was our little wild Indian.  We kept it pretty low key; we went and had a little garage party with the Siemsglusz's and their neighbors, and then did a some trick or treating in their surrounding neighborhood.  Before heading home, we stopped by the Hathaway home for some fun and a little more trick or treating in their neighborhood.  As always, we came home with three exhausted boys and way too much candy.

Soccer Season 2012

Kade and Brady finished up a successful soccer season this past fall.  Both boys will be moving up to the next level next year.  They both seem to really enjoy playing soccer.  So until next year...
