Our boys are so fortunate to have a dad who is so involved with all of their extra curricular activities.  He has taught them so much about the game. 

Little League Season 2013!

This past Little League season, Brady played in his final year of t-ball as a "Chicago Cub," and Kade played his final season of pitching machine as a "Washington National."  Both boys had a great season and we look forward to next season. 

Bounty Boys Baseball!

Dane, along with John David Baker, Lance Warmke, and Robbie Wooten, have put together a select baseball team with a very talented group of young boys.  After practicing together for about a year, last fall and spring we set out on the road heading to some tournaments.  Although we started out a little rocky in the fall, we sure picked it up in the spring winning three tournaments and coming in second in another.  The amazing group of boys that make up this team are Kade Rau #11, Kaben Lunbeck #22, Eric Aschenbeck #32, Ian Stelter #40 , Dylan Baker #8, Cade Warmke #10, Waylon Hinze #7, Weston Hinze #9, Rylan Wooten #19, Lane Sparks #20, Landon Gurka #3, and Devin Murithi #48.

Nate and the Kittens!

Our female cat that I had every intention of taking and getting fixed ended up pregnant with a litter of kittens.  By the time I realized she was "expecting" it was too late to take her in to get fixed.  She was able to sneak in the house one evening when we left for baseball practice, and when we got home we kept hearing something that sounded like a kitten.  Come to find out, she had gone underneath Nate's bed and had SEVEN (7) kittens.  It is amazing how she cleaned everything up and hardly left a mess of any kind behind.  The boys had a blast for the next six weeks playing with the kittens.  We did give in and let them keep one, but all the others went to great homes.
