The Ocean Treasure classes were in the St. Paul's Christmas program this past December 2011. For those of you who know Brady, you never really know what to expect when it comes to performing in front of a large crowd. He as a little anxious at first, but he went out on that stage and sang his heart out. He was dressed as a red present, and he was very proud of that. We are all very proud of him!

Downtown Christmas Parade 2011!
Kade and Brady were both in the Downtown Christmas parade this past December. Brady rode on one of the St. Paul's floats. The theme this year was "Christmas Movies" for St. Paul's. I was on the decorating team for Brady's float. We decided to do "Home Alone." We decorated the float to look like the center of Time Square in New York. It turned out great. Kade rode on our church float. They did a "Country Christmas" theme. It turned out to be a great evening for a parade. What a great way to get into the Christmas spirit!

Thanksgiving 2011!
This past Thanksgiving was spent with family. We celebrated Thanksgiving a little early with my Granny Loewe. We brought her home from the nursing home to spend the day with all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. All moments spent with Granny are very special because we never know how much time we may have left on this earth with her. It was a great day! On Thanksgiving day, Dane and I had family over to our house to celebrate all the thankful blessings in our lives.

Happy Halloween 2011!
This past Halloween, Kade and Brady decided they wanted to be a policeman and a jailbird. Brady ended up being the policeman, and Kade was the jailbird; so should have been the other way around based on their personalities, but whatever. For the last few years, I have been trying to get Kade to dress up as Alfalfa from "The Little Rascals." He has always refused to do it. I figured I would make Nate my guinea pig before he got too old to tell me "no" as well. I think he looked adorable and made a great Alfalfa. We did a little trick or treating with family and friends. It was a school night, so we didn't stay out too late. We still ended up with way more candy than we needed.
